Submersion joins NVIDIA Inception

Submersion has joined NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA's program for startups building with accelerated computing. Membership gives us access to compute resources, technical guidance, and NVIDIA's hardware and software stack as we build Basin, our specialized cybersecurity model.

The practical value for us is compute. Training and evaluating a cyber model against real offensive environments is compute-heavy work, and the program shortens the path to the hardware that work needs. That lets us iterate on Basin faster and stand up the model variants on our roadmap.

It also fits how Basin gets deployed. Submersion runs inside the customer's environment, on-premises, in a private cloud, or air-gapped, which in practice means running on the customer's own NVIDIA hardware. Working closely with NVIDIA's stack helps us make Basin run well on the GPUs enterprises already operate, which is the hardware our deployment model depends on.
